Tier 1 is for high-value migrants such as investors and entrepreneurs capable of setting up or investing in a business in the UK, graduates with an endorsed business plan.

The Tier 2 Visa is the major immigration pathway for skilled workers who want to enter the United Kingdom to take up employment.

Tier 3 was formally assigned for unskilled workers to fill specific temporary labor shortages and no longer exists.

4. Tier 4

The Tier 4 Student visa helps students from outside the UK who intend to study for a full-time degree at a university, college, or any other educational institution in the UK.

The disadvantage of this visa type is that your visa is only valid for 12 months and you are not allowed to bring your spouse or relatives. Lastly, the Tier 3 visa is currently suspended by the UK government.
